Since 2016 we have been offering this unique Shamanic Healing Apprenticeship program designed to support the evolution of shamanic practitioners who desire to deepen and expand their ceremonial and soul-restorative healing skills. Structured as a series of five weekend workshops spread over an 18 months, this apprenticeship program has two main objectives. First, it is designed to support the development and further refinement of each participant’s personal power – a necessary prerequisite for profound interaction with the world of living energy. Secondly, it offers training to support the development and expansion of shamanic healing skills. This training includes various methods of divination, the creation and offering of healing ceremonies including energy clearings, soul retrievals, despacho ceremonies, and distant healings. Also included are experiential exercises and practices designed to enhance each participant’s skills in offering service.

The community that evolves and strengthens over the course of the five weekend intensives is the training ground for skills and power alike. Facilitated by the close inter-actions of the participants as they practice the techniques on each other in a loving and supportive atmosphere, this community becomes the support structure that helps participants take the work into the world.

The healing and ceremonial modalities and techniques that Ray and Valerie share in this apprenticeship come from their own extensive training and long-term apprenticeship over the past 20 years with various healers and ceremonialists from Peruvian traditions and with teachers of other traditions and modalities, further refined through their experience as shamanic practitioners.

Participation in this apprenticeship series is open to those who have a either completed the Pachakuti Mesa Apprenticeship or, alternatively, have a practice that is anchored with a shaman’s altar. If you do not meet either of these conditions please contact us through this website and we will arrange to speak with you regarding a one-day program designed to assist you in creating a shamanic altar that will enable to participate in this series.

The first weekend intensive in this series, “The Path of the Healer,” is scheduled for the weekend of May 18-20, 2018 at The Sanctuary at Mt. Shasta. The intensive will commence at 7 pm on Friday, May 18th and conclude on Sunday, May 20th at approximately 2 pm.
